2026 KGWG General Assembly

We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Winter General Assembly will be held at UNIST from February 24(Tuesday) to February 25(Wednesday), 2026.

This year's program includes dedicated working-group sessions designed to support focused discussions and presentations in each research area. We warmly encourage all members to participate actively in both the discussions and presentations. This workshop is open to all participants, including those who are not KGWG members. Please feel free to share this information with colleagues who may be interested.

Accommodation

  • No financial support for attendees who need to book their own rooms
  • A few rooms at UNIST guest house (on-campus) may be available. Please contact Kyujin Kwak (local host) by kkwak@unist.ac.kr to ask about on-campus rooms. 
  • (Business) hotels at downtown Ulsan (about 15 km from UNIST campus: 30 minute taxi ride with about 16,000 KRW): Lotte Hotel Ulsan, Shilla Stay Ulsan, Lotte City Hotel Ulsan, Toyoko Inn Ulsan (Can find booking information by web search)
  • Banquet (dinner) on February 24th will be held downtown Ulsan, so staying in that area is recommended.   
  • A few motels at Unyang area (near KTX Ulsan station) are also available. 
     

Shuttle Bus

  • A bus with 40 seats will be available between UNIST and ShillaStay (about 30 minutes).
  • Will leave UNIST at the end of the first day program around 18:30 February 24th to the dinner restaurant near Shillastay Ulsan.
  • Will leave Shillastay Ulsan around 08:00 February 25th to UNIST.
